A tented affair along the lake, our elegant barn indoor and outdoor space, or an intimate dinner party with beautiful fires crackling in the background.
Cocktail Hour
Queue the drinks! At Bear Mountain Inn + Barn our receptions kick off with stellar cocktails and/or mocktails, if you prefer! Our newly renovated bar area as well as the beautiful outdoor patio area adjacent to the barn set the stage for the memorable night ahead.
Dinner
If you’re planning a sit down dinner reception with 150 guests or less, dinner inside the barn is an enchanting and popular option. Just imagine looking up at the beautiful chandeliers hanging above and the natural light filtering in from outside. For our couples with a guest count higher than 150, we can recommend great rental companies that can provide you with a gorgeous tent for the occasion. Like the picture here, your tent is set up directly next to the barn to keep everything close together. Dinner in the barn or under a tent will sure to delight your guests!
Dancing
With the sun setting over the western side of the property, beautiful golden light will be shining onto your dance floor early in the evening on those perfect summer nights. Our barn at Bear Mountain Inn + Barn is the perfect place to kick off the party with plenty of room for a DJ or a band! We are so proud of the love and laughter that has been shared in this space and we can’t wait for you to experience the magic that happens within these 200 year old walls!
Reception FAQs

Our barn can seat up to 150 guests for dinner in the barn. This still leaves a dance floor and space for the DJ or a 3-5 person band.

Yes! We partner with MANE Catering, our sister company. Their team is dedicated to turning your dreams into memories with custom menus to dazzle and delight every guest.

While there is no set noise ordinance, our preference is that receptions end between 10PM - 11PM.

We do not, however, we can recommend local establishments who would be able to host an after party.

Yes, the barn is equipped with split units that offer both heat and cooling. In addition, the venue has 4 industrial fans as well. For those beautiful summer nights, we can open the barn doors which allows for a refreshing cross-breeze!

Tables + chairs are included with the venue. We offer round tables, farm tables and white garden chairs.
